Christmas in WY

Just got back from spending Christmas in WY. First stop was Nana and Paco's in Pinedale. Pinedale may be a small town with miserable winter weather...but it does have one of the best pools ever!

I can't count the number of times I went down the submarine slide...

Proof that Dad got wet!

No pictures of the big slide...but it was so cool, I was screaming "MORE" before we even stood up in the splash down. There's a pic of the slide on the PAC website.

My cousins also joined us in Pinedale and we had the customary festivities of shredding wrapping paper. I think Reagan was more interested in eating it.

Cousin Nicole and I got matching vests. Also note my snow boots that I refused to take off. Not sure why I can't find them once we got home....hmmmm

Tub time!

Next stop was Targhee to party with Mom's family. Not sure why I don't have more pictures from this adventure. Maybe Mom's camera was tired.

Way better mountains than TN....

Mom wishes her tushie looked this good...

October Review

I realize I've been a slacker lately, but you'll see I've been quite busy!

Trying on snowsuits for my big Christmas trip to WY. Too bad I won't get much use out of it here.

Grandma and Grandpa Lolley came out to see me and we went to the Biltmore.
(This was before the flu episode)

Grandpa partying with me in the bug tent
(during flu, hence PJs are still on)

Mom and Dad got new countertops, I got to party in the cabinets
(post flu)

I tried to be a ladybug for Halloween. However, I wasn't interested in costume accessories. So, I'm a ladybug w/o wings or antennae.

Lots of leaves! Be sure to ask Dad if you should use a shopvac to blow leaves.

Raisins are the snack of the moment. That's probably because I can get them out of the kitchen all by myself.

Monkey Maze

Dad and I rolled our eyes as Mom put us in the car to check out a Corn Maze. However, it turned out much better than anyone anticipated. Who knew inflatable monkeys hiding in the corn could be so much fun!

(editors note: Yes, Claire squealed at every monkey in the maze)

(good thing mom dressed me in brown pants!)

I picked out this pumpkin, but someone else snagged it before Dad could get it for me :o(

Hmmm...this cow keeps popping up in strange places

Late Summer Fun

Mom and Dad are starting to limit my time on the computer. Something about altering the operating system, I think.

This is from our Labor Day weekend visit to the great state of Kentucky. This is Cumberland Falls... "the Niagara Falls of the South"... It was a good trip. While eating lunch, a snake and raccoon came up to my window!

Sherpa Dad taking me to all the sights. Mom was in charge of the pups. Dad must have won the coin toss.

Mom and Dad, you have spent so much time feeding me. My turn to pay you back... open wide!

Never to young to fall asleep while chatting with Grammie or Nana.

Weekend

I was a big help this weekend painting! (I hear I actually get to move into this house on Friday. I'll believe it when I actually get to sleep in my crib in the Very Hungry Caterpillar room)

Mom and Dad did found time to take me to the last day the outdoor pool was open this summer. Not sure who decided mid August was the end of pool season...

All tuckered out...(yes, this is Bruce's bed)

Play Ball!!!

For a while now, Mom and Dad have talked about going to a baseball game. Well, they finally found a strong enough reason to go... Rockies within driving distance. So we all loaded up and visited the Great American Ballpark. Not bad... I got to skip the minors and go straight to the big leagues! Best part... Rockies completed a SWEEP! At least that is what Dad says... Don't tell him, but I think I'm a Reds fan... and the Reds fans like me.

If one is good, two must be better... that and they are harder to lose this way.

And we are moving into our Tennessee home.
