I took a couple steps for Mom and Dad...but couldn't quite figure it out for the camera. (they have quite a few takes of me doing this)

This is me being silly with the laundry...

Claire Bear Shuffle

Title says it all...this is the Claire Bear Shuffle..my alternative to walking.

Easter at Frozen Head

Easter Sunday I did get all dolled up and went to church. Not sure why we didn't get any pictures of that. I did pretty good...only threw my shoe at the lady in front of us once.
Easter was a pretty nice day, so we headed out to Frozen Head State Park. Lots and lots of waterfalls. For folks from NM, this is a lot of water!
TN, might not be so bad afterall...

I didn't really care for my hat on previous outings, so Mom and Dad opted for the sun shade this time. I opted for the trucker tan.

Keep up Tilly! (really Tilly is down there...she just blends in with last year's foliage.)

All pooped out...from singing the entire hike! (Mom's note...it was a really noisy hike)

As promised...

Catching up from my big weekend...

Mom and Nana Jan found the Easter Bunny while they were out shopping on Sunday and thought I needed my picture taken with the goofy rabbit. At least it's not the Easter Cow...

However, while they were out Nana Jan found me a pinwheel and took me out in the wind to show me how it works. (Back in WY this would've been a "gentle breeze")

Finally, on to the big party! Mom's pretty proud of the cake. It had mangoes in it! Her coworkers were the taste testers for the past couple of weeks.

I even got a couple of swipes at it..

I didn't think it tasted too bad either. (watch for the video of me trying ice cream in a post to come)

At our house we are an equal toy opportunity house...and of course it also happened to be Opening Day. Dad says this is a spit ball...

Happy B-day Shout Out to Grandpa Jim

I might save some cake for you...

Day in the Smokies

Nana Jan and G'pa Ron showed up to celebrate my birthday early. Saturday we went to the Smokies. Here we are at the top of Clingman's Dome at 6643ft, the highest point in TN. (Remember, I was born at over 7000ft)

Checking the tire pressure on my stroller before we headed back to the car...

I needed a different view when we went to Laurel Falls. I'm waving from my new backpack. (Yes, I had to copy my friend Erica and get an almost matching backpack)

Dad and I checking out the falls

We didn't see any bears, but we did find a turkey
